Monday, September 16 update:

"The Hallams and the community will have to wait another six weeks to hear Judge Buttazzoni’s ruling in the preliminary hearing of evidence in the Crown Attorney’s case against Ronald Mitchell, Eric Mearow and Dylan Jocko," reports Steffanie Petroni. "The hearing is scheduled to resume on October 28."

On Tuesday, 32 very long months after the murder of Wesley Hallam, a preliiminary hearing of evidence against three men accused of Hallam's murder will be coming to a conclusion.

Ontario Court Justice Andrew Buttazzoni is expected to announce his determination of that evidence in court on September 17.

He has been listening to the evidence to determine if it is sustantial enough to try Ronald Mitchell, Eric Mearow, and Dylan Jocko on charges of first degree murder and being a party to indecently interfering with Hallam’s remains.  

Hallam is said to have been killed in January, 2011, at a house party at 30 Wellington Street East.

About two days later his remains were discovered in a ravine adjacent to Landslide Road and an intesive police investigation was launched.
