ADSB bus rural route update

Saturday, September 14, 2013   by: Staff

Algoma District School Board reports all busses back on roads for Monday, September 16, 2013

The Algoma District School Board (ADSB) is pleased to advise that as of today, it is expected that all busses will be running in Central Algoma on Monday, September 16.

Parents and students are reminded that there may be some delays due to road conditions both within the City of Sault Ste. Mare and in rural areas of Central Algoma.

However all bus routes in Sault Ste Marie and Central Algoma will be running as of Monday, September 16.

We wish to again thank our municipalities for their rapid response to repairing roads and for the ongoing communication.

Parents, please continue to remind your children to avoid areas where water levels are high.

We also remind all drivers and pedestrians to continue to respect the signage and barriers indicating road closures and potential danger.

We will continue to support our staff and families across the district who have been affected by the extreme conditions, and will continue to provide updates as necessary.

Now you know where our tax dollar goes, sure not to fix infrastructure to avoid lengthy road closures when we get torrential storms, it pays for the upper echelons of government to get fat. The west end under pass is a joke when we get heavy rain for example.
