Ricky charged with impaired, plus . . .

NORTH SHORE TOWNSHIP, ON – The East Algoma OPP received a call on July 14, 2013, at approximately 12:11 p.m. advising of a possible single motor vehicle collision east of Lauzon Village Road on Highway 17.

Police attended and through investigation arrested the driver. 

Charged with the following is Ricky Welch (64) of Fenelon Falls, Ontario:

• Impaired Operation

• Exceed 80

• Possession of Schedule II – Cannabis Marijuana

The accused is scheduled to appear in Blind River court on September 5, 2013.

Anyone with information regarding a possible impaired driver is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Any information that leads to the arrests or identity of persons responsible can lead to a cash reward.
