Joint investigation continues into home invasion
 
Seeking public’s assistance

(SAULT STE. MARIE, ON) -  The Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police continue to assist the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service in their investigation into a home invasion that occurred in the 200 block of Rossmore Road on May 13, 2013.

Investigators are asking for assistance from anyone who may have observed a green 2008 Jeep Liberty driving through the City of Sault Ste. Marie from the West end continuing east on highway 17 and then being involved in a motor vehicle collision on Watson’s Side Road on Monday, May 13, 2013 between 4:30 and 6 p.m.

Police conducted a thorough search of the area and were unable to locate the driver.

It is believed one male suspect exited the Jeep and fled the immediate area. 

Police investigation has revealed that the driver may have been picked up by a passing motorist in the Watson Road – Pioneer Road area of Laird Township.
