City Police seek public assistance in home invasion investigation

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Investigation Services Unit along with the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing the investigation into a Home Invasion in the 200 Block of Rossmore Road on May 13 of this year.

Detectives are currently following up on tips which have been provided by members of the public and at this point the investigation has revealed that this was not a random incident.

Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance with any observations they may have made.  

Investigators have and interest in information pertaining to a vehicle described as a smaller grey or silver compact car that may have been in the west end of the city between the blocks of  Peoples Road and Farewell Terrace on Monday May 13, 2013, between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.   

Two male suspects are described as 6ft tall slim build wearing dark clothing the second male also dressed in dark clothing approximately 5’8” medium build.  

Both were wearing dark coloured hats.  

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service as soon as possible.
