WEAVER, Armand R. ''Buck” - Armand “Buck” Weaver passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, April 29, 2013.

Born in Vankoughnet, Ontario in 1920 as the only child of Cecil and Mary (Flaherty) Weaver, Buck served during WWII with the RCAF before returning to management roles with the Royal Bank of Canada in Bracebridge, Toronto, Sundridge and Belleville.

In 1950 he joined his father in the family business, the Weaver Lumber Company, based in Echo Bay.

For many years Buck was an avid golf member of the Sault Country Club and he cross country skied from the Hiawatha Highlands Ski Club into his late 80s.

Buck is survived by his wife Bea (Rheubottom), brother-in-law Calvin of Campbellford, nieces and nephews Vicki Whitmell, Tracy, Stephen, Greg and Kelly Martin of Toronto, and his very special neighbours and friends.

A private family burial is being planned for a future date.

If desired, memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 705-759-2522.
