~ FRIDAY, MARCH 22, 2013 ~

The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce presents the Spring Expo at John Rhodes Community Centre, 260 Elizabeth Street, from 4 to 9 p.m. The Expo will feature the latest in home, renovations, outdoor recreation, leisure, and lifestyle. Admission is $7 per adult, $6 per senior, and free for youth 12 and under when accompanied by an adult.

The Jeff Holmes Band performs at the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., from 7 to 10 p.m.

Lake Superior State University presents Rumors, a comedy by Neil Simon, at 7:30 p.m. in the LSSU Arts Center, 650 W. Easterday Ave, Sault Michigan. Tickets are: students $8, adults $12, seniors $10. Please call 906-635-2602.

Touch of Class performs at Dondee Lanes in Sault Michigan from 8 p.m. until midnight.

Tym Morrison returns to the Road House, 743 Trunk Rd., to play from 10 p.m. until close.

Hat Trick plays the Nicolet Tavern, 304 Albert St. West. Show time is 10 p.m.

Coverfly performs at Docks River Front Grill, 89 Foster Dr., starting at 10 p.m.

Scoville Unit plays Loplops, 651 Queen St. East. The music kicks off at 10 p.m.

Bone Yard performs all weekend long at the Canadian Night Club, 410 Pim St. The band hits the stage at 10:30 p.m.

~ SATURDAY, MARCH 23, 2013 ~

The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce presents the Spring Expo at John Rhodes Community Centre, 260 Elizabeth Street, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Expo will feature the latest in home, renovations, outdoor recreation, leisure, and lifestyle. Admission is $7 per adult, $6 per senior, and free for youth 12 and under when accompanied by an adult.

Saturday Morning Craft and Story Hour at the Korah Branch Public Library is suitable for children between the ages of 4 and 8. You may register your child for this program between 10 and 10:30 a.m. each Saturday. The program will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. This free program runs every Saturday through the school year. Upstairs at Rome's, 44 Great Northern Road, presents Easter Crafts for Kids from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children ages 5 to 8 are welcome to join Pauline and Donna to create Easter crafts to take home. The group will make bunny baskets, egg ornaments, Easter chicks, and yummy bird nest treats. Register at the Customer Service Desk for $14. CrossRoad plays an afternoon gig at the Elks Hall, 216 Bay St., from 3 to 7 p.m.

Pennzoil presents Rock for Dimes Sault Ste. Marie, a United Way fundraiser for the March of Dimes, at the Grand Gardens, 68 Dennis St., at 7 p.m. The evening features local entertainment from RPM and Redundant, and will be hosted by Lou Turco. Tickets are $15 each.

180 Projects, located at 180 Gore St., presents music from Soul Killing Female (from Winnipeg), AlgomA, and Honest Job. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is $5. This is an all-ages event.
