CITY POLICE

NEWS RELEASE

***************************

20 year old Kimberly Robinson of Batchewana Bay Ontario was arrested by City Police officers on March 19th on 6 charges.

It is alleged Miss Robinson attempted to steal car stereo items from the Wal-Mart on Bay Street but was apprehended by store security.

Upon further investigation she was found to be in possession of Oxcycodone and Seroquel.

Her probation order had conditions for her to not possess any drugs.

As a result she was charged with theft, possession of a narcotic, breaching her probation and another Fraud charge stemming from an earlier incident where it is alleged she tried to return property to Wal-Mart and collect money for items she never had originally purchased.

She is scheduled for Bail Court this morning.

City Police arrested 22 year old Michael Gingras of Goulais River on the 19th of March and charged with the same offences as Kimberly Robinson relating to the theft charges from Wal-Mart.

Mr. Gingras was also in possession of some cocaine and on probation with a condition not to attend Wal-Mart.

He was also wanted on a warrant for unlawfully at large.

He will be appearing in Bail Court as well later today.
