Ontario Provincial Police report the highway was reopened in both directions at 7 a.m.

Ontario Provincial Police Road Advisory - Highway 17 Wawa to White River Closed 2013-03-19

Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advise of the following Road Advisory:

Location:   Hwy 17 from Wawa to White River

Brief Description of Event:  Collision involving tractor trailer - Closed due to poor driving conditions (weather)

Detour (if available): N/A

Estimated duration of Road Advisory:  Unknown

O.P.P. Media Contact:  Wawa OPP

The O.P.P. will distribute details and updates of the road advisory as information becomes available.

Please do not call O.P.P. Provincial Communication Centres for road advisory updates or road condition information.
