cassuis 3/19/2013 9:26:59 AM ReportThey smoke the patches...they don't inject them!. The blame should go to our Goverment for allowing these doctors to give these drugs out like candy! Idiots....seen this comin years ago.....and it must be a friend of a friend who obviously new the patches we're in the house! They would robbed their own mothers when using these types of drugs! And like one of the others wrote' the home owner is selling them....not too sure but how many of us have 400 bucks laying around the house! It's a big joke the whole thing.....they give these prescriptions out to the people that are qualified to have them and they sell the script to the drug dealer for big money and the dealers double up the price...every month the doc gives these people a new script.....what the should do is when each patch is taken off to be changed for another they should have to save it and when they want more they return to the doctor....if one patch is missing their script is cancelled...end of story!
steve53000 3/19/2013 9:44:29 AM Reportcassuis if ya had ever been in pain or been with someone passing due to the BIG C u would never comment as you did.
Patches have their place but as any drug people will and have done everything with em.....
good4now 3/19/2013 9:54:37 AM ReportONLY A Joke -But so true...
(the Legislature had to change the Citizen's Arrest Law to keep Police from charging store owners with apprehending shoplifters)
...You might remember the case of David Chen, the owner of Lucky Moose Food Mart in Toronto. After chasing down and detaining a repeat shoplifter from his store, he was arrested and charged.

The Man Who Cried Wolf
Tony Gladstone was going to bed the other night when he realized that some people had broken into his shed and began stealing things. Gladstone phoned the police and was told that there was no one in the area to help, and they would send someone over as soon as possible.
Gladstone hung up. A minute later he called again. “Hello,” he says “I called you a minute ago because there were people in my shed. You don’t have to hurry now, because I’ve shot them.”
Within moments there were 6 police cars in the area, accompanied by helicopters and an armed response unit. The police response time was so immediate that they were able to catch the burglars in the act.
An officer on the scene says to Gladstone “I thought you said you’d shot them.”
To which Gladstone replied: “I thought you said there was no one available.”

Some will say that the Laws the Law, and Police are only doing their job. But with great power comes great responsibility. They are expected to use remarkable judgement, not act as overpaid security guards.
Consider the actual situation of a man who fled the Mt Helen's explosion (youngsters can google) at over 100MPH (160KPH) he survived, but passed a car that he believed was only going 90MPH and that family was consumed by the explosion. Would the police have been within the law to charge him for speeding, careless driving, etc?
If you use force to protect your family against a drug crazed intruder, why can you be charged?
hunti 3/19/2013 10:01:37 AM ReportThat is exactly what is going on here, people getting prescriptions from the Dr.and they sell them. The Dr.asks the patient to go in for blood work to see if their taking their meds so they take them for a couple of days and it shows their taking their meds and they sell 95% of their medication.I blame the pill sellers, they are the true criminals, but you call the police and report who is selling the pills and they laugh in your face. Then there's people who go to the METH clinic and get bottles of METH to take home and their selling that too.Make's me sad to see how many people's lives are being destroyed by these pills.Dr's have to be held responsible for writing too many prescriptions,I know another individual who gets over 100 lorazapam a month along with 7 other different meds, and by the way this person DRIVES,could be you they run into one day. While everyone wants to blame the pill users blame the pill sellers. You will understand it more when it hits close to home and not until then.Never ending story......
crashed13 3/19/2013 10:11:07 AM Report99.99% of these the perpetrator is known to ,or known by a person who knows the victim to in some manner. If the perpetrator is a crack head well..you know where I,m going.
They make it sound in the news like someone invaded a address at random.
deerhunter 3/19/2013 10:14:37 AM Reporti am with newcon but it is getting out of hand with drugs n brack in i will stand my grownd the law gotta put them away
Studlee 3/19/2013 10:24:26 AM ReportThere was a fresh snowfall last night. Where were the footprints? Oh wait, the home invader flew away because he was high...LOL
cassuis 3/19/2013 11:34:41 AM ReportSteve53000.....what in gods name are you Reading....Never said anything bad about people that actually need it.....just talking about the people that don't use them and sell them......please read before u speak....taking advantage of people's addiction and destroying the lives of them and their families to make profit should be life in prison! They just need to control the situation....not hard to do but the Goverment needs to be the one to step in....wonder why they haven't! $$$$$$$$$$!!
steve53000 3/19/2013 11:56:48 AM Reportcassuis 3/19/2013 11:34:41 AM Report
what the should do is when each patch is taken off to be changed for another they should have to save it and when they want more they return to the doctor....if one patch is missing their script is cancelled...end of story!
Maybe I am not understanding the wording of this if so did not mean to irritate ya
newcon 3/19/2013 12:52:54 PM ReportNever will I imply that using a firearm is the ONLY SOLLUTION to many of these social ills...it would only get me in trouble. Laws need to be changed though because it's only getting worse from here on and why should innocent people suffer with the legal trauma that goes with defending one's self, family or property. It is time for a "Stand Your Ground Law" in Canada and serious firearms flexibility for legitimate firearms owners. You know a Model 1911 semi-auto fits very comfortably under one's arm and does not take up much space under the pillow.
