Police dog helps apprehend man facing 5 charges

On March 17, 2013, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the accused is alleged to have stolen a 2004 Chev pickup truck from the area of Langdon Road.
The accused then smashed the passenger side window of a Dodge pickup truck but police had been alerted to the area.
The accused ran from the area but was tracked down by police K-9.
As a result, the accused - Cody Blaine Cuthbertson, age 26 - was arrested and charged with theft over $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000, attempt theft over $5,000, mischief and trespass by night.
Cuthbertson appeared in bail court on March 18, 2013 at 10 a.m.

Probably charges they have against him from something else. So they got him with 5 in 1 arrest.

Wouldn't it be nice if the courts allowed the victim 15 minutes in this guys home to destroy things that he holds precious and paid for so maybe he would actually get the feeling you get when someone wrecks your stuff

This is not a dictatorship society.
Cutting off a finger will only get him a government disability cheque every month for life here in Canada. Then me and anybody else that actually works for a living would have to support the loser for the rest of his life! NO THANKS!!! We have enough deadbeats in this city that would rather collect a government cheque to working.
How about banishment from the city. Three convictions and your out - permanently! This city has actually done that in the past to get rid of losers and undesireables.
