Monday morning police report

On March 17th shortly before 8:00 pm Christopher Shaughnessy, age 22 of 257 McNabb St. turned himself in at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Building.

Shaughnessy was wanted for the theft of a cell phone from an incident that occurred on October 22nd, 2012.

Police Officers arrested and charged the male with Theft under $5,000.00. He will now appear in court on April 22nd, 2013.

Shortly after 7:00 pm on March 17th, 2013 Patrol Officers were called to a residence on First Ave. for a break and enter complaint.

Officers learned that thieves entered the home and stole electronics and jewellery.
