Celebrating its third year, the Sault Blues Society hosted award-winning Canadian blues vocalist Dawn Tyler Watson last night at the Water Tower Pub.
A packed house was treated to two sets of classics - one set jazz and the other blues - as locals, the Jeff Holmes Band, backed up Montreal's Watson.
"Are the jazz fans still in the house? No? They probably went home early to watch PBS," Watson joked between sets.
If you weren't lucky enough to be in attendance last evening, Watson has a second Sault performance scheduled for tonight (Saturday) at the Canadian Night Club (410 Pim Street) starting at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets, available at the Canadian and Case's Music, are $20 (general public) and $15 (Sault Blues Society members).
