Warning: ice is breaking up

Loyal SooToday.com reader Graham Grattan sent us the following note and photos taken today.
**************************
Attached are a couple of pictures taken today at Gros Cap;
The first picture shows the icebreakers USCGC Mackinaw and CCGS Samuel Risley passing Gros Cap reefs Light. Late in the morning they had "locked-up" through the Soo Locks and just after 1 p.m. were passing Gros Cap.
In the second picture, looking northwest from Gros Cap towards Ile Parisienne way in the distance, three people can be seen walking on the ice.
The noticeable crack in the ice was not created by the passing icebreakers but by a change in water level due to wind and/or a change in air pressure.
