With the worlds population only going up. 1960 was 3 billion people,2011 was 7 billion and a forecast of 10 billion in 2050.
When do they every think traffic anywhere in the world will not increase every year.

Its like being surprised house prices or rent went up from the previous year.

You've missed the point entirely, and what you are saying has no bearing on this statistic. This has nothing to do with population increasing. It has everything to do with people travelling into the United States using roads, and specifically travelling through the Twin Saults. It is assisting to gauge the strength of the economy.

Some people travel five times a week (LSSU students from Sault, Ontario). Each time they cross it counts as one across the bridge, and after a week.. they accumulated 5 trips. Multiply that by 200 people... and now we have 1000 trips.. Totally debunks your explaination. Thanks for playing though.

When every you hear of a "decline" in bridge traffic from the "previous" year,no matter what the state of the economy, report back.

Has not happened since the bridge open 50years ago so far.
