Giller 3/1/2013 8:34:27 AM Report

Names are never given in domestic disputes...
coach37 3/1/2013 9:14:37 AM Report

They just keep kicking the crap out of one another and then back together next day or two to start the old cycle again....sad but true in most cases. We should be reading soon about them breaching conditions and getting caught together....That CYCLE happens everyday....friggen SAD
Studlee 3/1/2013 9:37:49 AM Report

Big deal, you wanna know names because you're a miserable no good gossip monger that gets joy out of reading other's misfortunes, for shame!
Stugatzu 3/1/2013 10:37:40 AM Report

There are quite a few idiots on these boards that expect to read names of people involved in a domestic disputes... just to they can flap their gums... facebook it.. .and all that sort of inappropriate and inexcusable behaviour. IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS WHO IT WAS!

I got into it with a few idiots myself over this very topic last week. They don't get it... and never will.

They aren't the brightest colour crayon in the box, that is for certain.
Bad Dawg 3/1/2013 10:43:48 AM Report

Just go to bail court and see who it is for yourself.

And why would anyone think that is love, they hit and say sorry. Abusers will never change.... GET OUT!! The people I grew up with and the ones I am around now never stood for someone beating their spouse. None of this "what happens behind closed doors bullshit or its none of my business"...

you know what? It is my bussiness because when you go to jail I GOTTA PAY FOR IT, when your family ends up on welfare, I GOTTA PAY, they have a kid then that kid is a witness to violence and it then spreads even more cause they saw their parent do it AND EVERYONE ELSE PAYS FOR IT. could be male or female....

Bad Dawg..

I quite agree with you, we pay and pay and do not forget that while they are dealing with these "nameless" people, some other criminal is breaking into or stealing from someone else and the police are not there because they are dealing with the "domestic abuse" nuts.
Wobbler 3/1/2013 11:24:08 AM Report

There is one unfortunate thing about people being charged with spousal abuse: A lot of times the police are called to diffuse a situation. The spouse who called the police does not want the other charged, they just want them taken out of the situation to calm down or get the help that they need, such as crisis intervention.
It is the police who make the charge of assault, not the spouse.
A hand came up and pushed a finger out of their face; a spouse was pushed aside so the other could get out a door; shoulders where held to try and calm the other down.....no physical attacks, no cuts, bruises or broken bones, no request to have them charged by the spouse, but they are charged by the police anyway.
The other spouse is not allowed to have the charges dropped until it goes to court and most times not even then. As a matter of fact, some spouses are told (by the police) that it is not even necessary for them to attend court.
This is why some couples get back together when the one charged gets out of jail even if there are orders to stay away.
These are situations that should not have cost taxpayers the monies that have been spent on court time, lawyers and incarceration!!
The zero tolerance laws for this type of thing should be looked at and revised because no two situations are ever the same.
