NEWS RELEASE

ST. PAUL CATHOLIC SCHOOL

*****************************
On Wednesday, February 27, St. Pault Catholic School took part in the Huron Superior Catholic District School Board's Bullying Awareness Day.

Part of the day saw the students and staff, who were decked out in pink, attend an assembly where everyone was reminded of the negative impacts that bullying has, the importance of making sure to involve adults if one feels that they are being bullied, along with strategies to allow a person to be a proactive bystander.

Students also reflected on the ideas of being inclusive to all, and respecting the God given traits of their friends, schoolmates and staff.

The assembly also included a presentation from the St. Basil Secondary IMPACT team that "Inspires and Motivates Peers to be Active Compassionate Teens".

"Students also reflected on the ideas of being inclusive to all, and respecting the God given traits of their friends, schoolmates and staff."

Except of course if the God given trait is homosexuality right? If that's really true, I think they should drop the "Catholic" part. Why not rename the school Les Paul Elementary.
