Dave Nocioli: 1953-2013

SooToday.com has received the following notice from the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre regarding a well-known local businessman. The deceased owned and operated Sports Gold next to the Soo Pee Wee Arena and was an avid supporter of local sports.

NOCIOLI, David Andrew – March 2, 1953 – February 25, 2013 – Peacefully with his family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, February 25, 2012 in his 60th year.

Beloved husband of Darlene for 38 years. Loving father and best friend of Darren (Shannon).

Nono to Siara Morrison and Caden Nocioli. Son of Tina Nocioli (late Romeo). Son-in-law of Barbara Thornton. Brother of Judy Barbeau (Bob).

Brother-in-law of Ken Irvine (Pam Evans), Steve Irvine (Kathy) and Gord Irvine (Anne).

Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 1 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m.

A private family service will be held.

Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating.

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the SAH Foundation or A.R.C.H. would be appreciated.

Expressions of sympathy may be offered here.

Darlene and Darren, so sorry for your loss, i sat here and looked at a picture from the hockey days, and it made me sad, at least they r all together again, they were all nuts together, Dave was always such a nice person with a heart of gold!!!!!

He was in fact a very good coach I had him back when I was a little kid used to play on sports gold he will deffently be missed
