GotRotties 2/24/2013 6:18:49 AM ReportI couldnt be happier that Mr. Patterson was arrested and taken to jail, people have to start calling police when they see animals being abused, its been going on too long and too often. Seems to me as we become more technically advanced and become busier in our lives we have less value for anyone else including animals and other people..this needs to stop and I am glad that the police have set a precident by arresting this idiot. Lets hope the justice system doesnt fail this poor dog.
DutchTouch 2/24/2013 7:14:17 AM ReportThank goodness someone intervened. When treated with love and respect animals will respond and give affection and friendship in return. They are not to be used as an inanimate object we can turn our rage out on.
I hope this dog will be able to find a good home.
JustMe1234567 2/24/2013 8:00:43 AM ReportThe first thing that comes to mind is WHY would anyone do this...WHY? It's a sick world out there folks. No, let me correct that, this loser is the sick one.
Thank you for posting this sootoday, now everyone knows the name of this 'individual' (can't think of a nice word so that's the best I could come up with.)
Let this be a lesson to all you other punks out there that get a power trip out of abusing a defenseless animal.
We, the animal lovers, outnumber you, and we are watching, and we have cell phones with video cameras.
One last thing- Karma has no deadline.
Marko K 2/24/2013 8:06:21 AM Reportapparently he has an anger problem

JustMe1234567 2/24/2013 8:24:19 AM ReportAwww call the waaa-mbulance, our dog beater has an anger problem.
roxxyroller 2/24/2013 9:14:49 AM ReportOMG The anger that overwhelmed me just now after reading this article is crazy! I am a HUGE animal lover and I would LOVE to have just 5 minutes with this puke alone to show him how it feels to be kicked and beaten ... only yellow bellied wimps beat on the helpless cuz they cannot beat on anything else without getting beaten on right back. LOSER
Bad Dawg 2/24/2013 9:17:13 AM Reportwow... hopefully some jail time. Next time he gets mad he could stomp a person or prolly get stomped himself due to the fact ALL ANIMAL ABUSERS ARE COWARDS..... we need to sort this trash. The guy obliviously has issues and should be dealt with accordingly, not end up with a slap on the wrist.
roxxyroller 2/24/2013 9:29:24 AM Report@Bad Dawg: 100% in agreeance!!!!!
bluesslinger 2/24/2013 9:35:31 AM ReportI wish they would post pictures of these creeps.
roxxyroller 2/24/2013 9:39:45 AM Reportbluesslinger -- Do a search on facebook and see if they're on there like I often do! lol
old-cat33 2/24/2013 9:40:48 AM Reportroxxyroller: Love your post and I agree with you 100%.
roxxyroller 2/24/2013 9:42:40 AM Reportold-cat33 - Great minds think alike! :D
blackspruce 2/24/2013 10:48:09 AM Reportpathetic glad that they published this garbage name so everyone or anyone that meets him will know what kind of trash that their dealing with it is too bad they do not published the name of the same type of trash that beat on girls. I would love to see the mother's face of her son who beat on my little girl and still has not paid for it yet splashed in the paper for everyone to see. Beaters are the lowest type of scum animal or people everyone should know who they are so we can all look at them with disgust and give them the treatment they deserve
Ricatoni 2/24/2013 11:15:42 AM ReportOne word for this waste of flesh GOOF!!!!!!!!!!
KMF61MCF 2/24/2013 11:19:27 AM ReportDO NOT GIVE THIS PIECE OF TRASH THIS DOG BACK!!!!! POOR DOG POOR HELPLESS ANIMAL.I HOPE YOU MEET SOMEONE WHO DOES THE SAME TO YOU YOU BOTTOM FEEDING SCUM BAG!!
Bad Dawg 2/24/2013 11:20:06 AM ReportAbusers of all kinds need a taste of their own medicine, wrap him in pork chops and send in the dogs. Now that would make a great TV reality show.
blackspruce 2/24/2013 11:45:38 AM Reporthe should not be allowed to get this poor animal back or ever have the privilage of owning a pet again the courts will not do anything, but thanks to the paper and email everyone now knows what he has done. This creep will have to watch his back forever.
Norm 2/24/2013 12:14:02 PM ReportDogs are never equal to people, that said. no one has the right to mistreat any animal.
FirstChairLastCall 2/24/2013 12:25:01 PM ReportEqual in what regard?
Tom_Bom 2/24/2013 12:45:42 PM ReportThat scumbag. The saddest part about all this is that most pets who enter the humane shelter get euthanized due to overcrowding within a week or two.
The dog doesn't deserve this. No living creature does.
MsNic 2/24/2013 1:28:56 PM ReportThis abusers address is reported to be 43 Panoramic Dr. in the P-Patch. If I didn't have a broken leg right now I would be picketing in front of this punks house so everyone knows what he is capable of and his neighbours can keep a closer eye on him. I hope some able-bodied people will take up this cause.
FirstChairLastCall 2/24/2013 2:10:40 PM ReportNot sure what the point of equality is but, dogs deserve equal respect and love.
FirstChairLastCall 2/24/2013 2:11:14 PM ReportTom-bom. That is not true.
HeiseFactor 2/24/2013 2:20:55 PM ReportThis is the address where dog was at time.
this is not the address where he lives.
You people should not be bothering his mother. A neighbour that can't mind his own buisness, and likes to cause %$#@, sure has stirred up the community. Dog don't deserve this, this is true, if it happened at all.
FirstChairLastCall 2/24/2013 2:43:02 PM ReportIf?
"Police were able to secure evidence which showed the accused kicking and stomping at a dog."
blackspruce 2/24/2013 3:06:31 PM Reportsorry heisefactor do not know all the facts on this character sounds like a dirt bag anyway but if that neighbor had not called maybe he would continue to beat animals if everyone turns their backs to abuse the abuse will continue
moem 2/24/2013 3:21:49 PM ReportSad to see!!! Though it never ceases to amaze me the level of outrage animal cruelty gets yet when it's a child we see comments in defense of the perpetrator, or comments justifying it... The case of the woman who " allegedly" shook her toddler in a parking lot comes to mind. When it's children people say things like " it's ok to spank or a smack when needed is ok" truly a crazy world we live in
JustAGuy2 2/24/2013 4:12:31 PM Reportwhat a piece of garbage
_kate_ 2/24/2013 4:40:10 PM ReportI hate it when people treat animals poorly. Having a pet is a privilege, not a right.
cdncutie 2/24/2013 5:19:15 PM ReportNo, people do not know exactly what happened, and it's not nosy neighbours, it's a concerned neighbour for the individual and the dog involved. If you happened to see the video that was taken Heisefactor (which i have) you may change your mind. No his mom does not need to bothered, he is a young adult making his own decisions. Unfortunately, he and the dog have been living under her roof for some time. This isn't the first time that this has occurred. Just the first time there was actual evidence.
PipeBomb 2/24/2013 6:30:50 PM ReportScum of the Earth.
Patron 2/24/2013 7:51:33 PM ReportHeiseFactor it seems Mr Patterson is not the only one with an anger problem. Why would the police arrest him and say he resided there if he did not? The neighbour did not medal in anyones business, they did the right thing, anyone who would abuse any living thing needs to be called to task. This is not his first brush with the law. Hopefully he will get some help with his angry. Maybe some of his friends should follow suit.
candio21 2/24/2013 10:51:51 PM ReportDefinately going to be taking my dog walks more in that direction of the p patch and keep my eyes out at this address. Bringing a camera and reporting anything that is not right!!!
Smurf 2/25/2013 12:49:27 AM ReportOh he's on facebook under Chris patterson. His profile pic is of his dog ironic enough. Can you imagine having that much hate in you...that much rage and anger...in our own neighborhoods?? Yes, first the poor dog, then an annoying driver, or a shoot up at a school or a mother or baby. Get to know his face, we need to stand up to these people, these bullies, abusers, call them out...and send them to jail!!! I hope his family helps this guy out..i truly do..I hope they all intervene and get him some much needed help and remove all children and dogs around him.
luvbuggy 2/25/2013 9:58:58 AM ReportI hope this poor doggy can b saved and taken to a good home. If I didn't already have two doggies here I'd go pick him up right now. :(. Poor guy. Nobody deserves to b mistreated soo poorly.
