You know you want it.
Wait for it.
Here it comes.
Yes!
The jump cut.
They're doing the Harlem Shake in from New Westminister to New Brunswick, in New York, New Zealand and New South Wales.
It's the newest internet sensation around the world that's kicking Gangnam Style to the curb with it's wacky costumes, crazy dances and the big jump scene all done to West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native Harry Rodrigues, better known as Baauer.
Baauer, an electronic, trap and bass musician, released Harlem Shake in May of 2012 but it really took off when some students in Queensland, Australia made a short YouTube video to a segment of the song (below).
The video, known for it's jump cut from a lone, masked dancer to a room full of wacky dancers, went viral and people around the world have been doing the Harlem Shake in growing numbers since then.
It's fitting that Wally the Wacky Chicken from the Sault's own Wacky Wings should be the one to introduce SooToday.com readers to the Harlem Shake (above).

MIlk... thats what my dad said about the twist and dances of that sort.... so don't knock it. I bet your dad and mom had something to say about the dances and songs that you listened to as well in comparison to them. Lighten up.
lol Great publicity for them. Plus it is a good way to loosen up. at least they aren't grinding up against stuff like the video at the bottom they were just shakin around. I'm not crazy about this whole fad but Wacky Wings did it right.
oh come on guys this is awesome. the dance is stupid but the entertainment is hilarious. this is much more entertaining than gangnam style by far. this chicken is the bomb!!
HA!!!! Look I'm 33 years old, but I still find stuff like this hilarious. I don't think it's as funny as Gangam Style, but this is good for laughs. Have a sense of humour people.
If any of the above commenters knew anything, they would know that this Wacky rendition is a fraud. The majority of "Harlem Shakes" are not Harlem Shakes at all. "Do your research!" http://mashable.com/2013/02/20/the-real-harlem-shake/
It's called pop culture . And it's delivered much quicker these days due to the technology available. Some of you idiots were born old - take a chill pill and let go of that crap or better yet go sit in a metropolis and watch people for your next vacation then come back with the little pop culture education you just got.
