SAULT STE. MARIE - (February 19, 2013) - One very grateful dance mom is organizing a spectacular fashion show in celebration and in thanks to Studio Dance Arts.
The fashion show takes place on Friday, February 22, 7 p.m. at the Comfort Suites and Conference Centre.
Cristina Taraborrelli-Pauli is the visionary and producer of this fundraising event.
Her daughter Emma has been dancing with SDA since they opened their doors 10 years ago and she wanted to express her gratitude and congratulations to the place that helped shape her daughter into the young woman she is today.
What better way to do that than by organizing a special event that will help raise funds for SDA’s year end showcase Gala event.
The fashion show will be hosted by Tania Castellani-Greco, a long time instructor at SDA and Ryan Byrne, owner of A.C.E. Entertainment and who has been a friend to the studio for many years.
Fashions will be presented by some of the hottest retailers in town including, Phat Closet, Totem Pole, Children’s Place, Moores, Centre Stage, Feelin Fabulous, RAW, Ricki’s, Bootlegger, West 49, Le Chateau and Warehouse One.
More than 30 door prizes are up for grabs from generous community supporters.
These include restaurant gift cards at some the Sault’s top dining establishments, spa packages, hockey games, beauty treatments, hotel stays and more.
Tickets for this event are $20 and are on sale now at Studio Dance Arts, 612 Queen Street East or by e-mail.
SDA’s 2013 year end showcase marks a milestone for its school - it's the 10th Anniversary show!
To celebrate this occasion, Richard Kim, owner/director, is planning a special Gala Celebration at the Kiwanis Theatre on June 15 and June 16.
A spectacular show is in the works that will feature all of SDA’s current students, as well as former students from the past 10 years.
In addition, the show will feature some special guests and performers!
Tickets for June’s Gala Showcase go on sale April 20 at the Station Mall box office.
Cristina, along with co-producer Lana DeLorenzi and promotional manager Amanda McKee volunteered a countless number hours to ensure the success of this event.
They will be donating 100 percent of the profits to Studio Dance Arts to go directly towards assisting with the production of the year-end showcase gala event.
