Man faces several domestic related charges

On February 18th Patrol Officers attended a home on St. George’s Ave and arrested a 32 year old male on several domestic related charges.
It is alleged that in the fall of 2012 the accused assaulted his ex-common in law spouse.
Then in January of 2013 the accused allegedly took the victims credit card and used it without her permission.
The accused has been charged with Assault, Stealing a Credit Card and Using a Stolen Credit Card.
He will appear in bail court on Feb. 19th.

If anything, it shows the public That, whatever his name is, is abusive towards women and also untrustworthy. This way it prevents him from doing it to women in the future and maybe it's embarrassing enough for the woman that she'll smarten up and kick this half wit to the curb..... What do I know, though?
Stugatzu 2/19/2013 2:27:50 PM ReportHow does it protect the victim you ask? Let's work with this hypothetical situation: A couple get into a domestic dispute and violence/threats are exchanged. It isn't unlikely to say "If I know your spouse... chances are.. I know their partner by extension."
In short, domestic disturbances aren't the business of the general public, because the victim may then be threatened by the accused's family/friends. If you NEED to know the name of the accused, go sit at the court house the day of their hearing.
Really... sounds like a bunch of busy-bodies that need to know everyone else's business... just so they can stir shit up.
