Yes, only in Sault Ste. Marie is there road rage.

Give your head a shake.
polaris 2/16/2013 6:19:44 PM Report

Only in Sault Ste. Marie? Have you ever left this city? I had a guy near Detroit get out and smash my tail light because I didn't signal into my parking spot. Pretty sure road rage is a worldwide religion.
whitefeathers 2/16/2013 7:09:57 PM Report

Agree with Polaris its not just in Sault Ste Marie.
Sam C 2/16/2013 7:24:12 PM Report

Wish I could say this surprises me, although in fairness physical assaults aren't all that common -- in terms of road rage, that is.

Sam, there are numerous workshops you can take to learn to use a computer. So you dont need to double post every single time you post.....
nishgurl 2/16/2013 10:46:05 PM Report

for everyone who has nothing better to do than comment on what goes on on sootoday there is in fact stuff behind the post and sootoday doesn't post what actually goes on.. maybe sootoday should interview people instead of giving them a bad name and improperly using peoples names. yes its funny until it happens to you.. she was charged after being attacked by an individual and defending herself. thank you for assuming what went on based on sootoday trying to be comical when in fact it is not funny and very unreasonable

I hope there was no mention of "idle some more" because that would be so terrible. I rode my bicycle last night...I did 5 runs up Dennis street and it's a good thing the city dumped 4tons of ice-melt on the street cause now I can collect bags full and sell them to the restaurants. Some real nice ladies came up to me and asked if I would like a real job. I told them I had trouble getting out of bed in the morning so I would have to pass...but I did ask them if they wanted to earn 40$ a piece by carrying my bag. I told them the bag weighed 50lbs so it would be easier if they worked as a team.
Christina216 2/17/2013 12:24:34 AM Report

i dont even know why sootoday called this road rage...nobody was driving. and like nishgurl said sootoday never posts the whole story.
just-me 2/17/2013 2:18:07 AM Report

@nishgurl: I agree, SooToday is trying to be unnecessarily funny. Sadly, most media outlets do it. They fail to see the effect it has on real people, but don’t expect any media around here to actually look for the REAL story, it will likely never happen.

Let’s be honest though, the true BS begins when the police initially release names while charges are simply allegations. They care even less how it affects people. They just want to show the public they did something to earn their pay other than race each other to Timmies.

I must say I agreed with you again when you said the people reading & making unnecessary judgements think it’s ok until it happens to them.

I, for one, am not one of those people. I don't believe a word said in the media unless I've witnessed it first hand. There's always more to the story. I wish more people were like me in this aspect, but I wish even more, that the laws would change & stop allowing police to release anything beyond an actual conviction. It would save a lot of heartache & pain for a lot of people.

I’m sorry this happened to your friend. I hope for her sake, she gets a judge willing to listen.

LMAO!!!!!! Too funny
JustMe1234567 2/17/2013 1:00:34 PM Report

Hey- be glad you live in a country where the cops HAVE to make public the names of those arrested.

You could live in a country where they can grab you, throw you in a car and whisk you away. And don't have to release any info, and don't. And the person whisked away is never seen nor heard from again.

I think I like our system better.

Shortcut 2/18/2013 9:56:30 AM Report

Let me wrap my head around this nishgurl, the accused was just defending herself and was the one actually assaulted while being unlawfully in the so called victims residence? She must have done a pretty good job defending herself because she caused bodily harm to this other person. I agree after hearing your facts the cops really pooched this one and Laura has a slam dunk case here!
Darkwing 2/18/2013 10:07:13 AM Report

Just-me...you are against the police releasing names in one statement and then say u r happy that we live in a country where police have to release names in another???
Coles_Mom 2/19/2013 8:52:26 AM Report

I find myself asking "What's wrong with people" all the time and here I am again!! Seriously lady "IT'S A PARKING SPOT!!!"
