Cheer for WUSC Cheerleading and Dance Show

Hosted by Sault College Local WUSC Committee and Sault College Cougars

Cheer for WUSC is about celebrating Sault College’s local WUSC committee’s efforts to bring the WUSC Refugee program to life.

On Thursday March 28, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Sault College’s main gymnasium, Sault College is hosting the first ever Cheer for WUSC event.

Cheer for WUSC is about celebrating Sault College’s local WUSC committee’s efforts to bring the WUSC Refugee program to life, and the Cougars Cheerleading teams success.

The night will consist of a combination of some of Sault Ste. Marie's finest dancers, vocalists, artists, and of course our Sault College Competitive Cheerleading team.

This will be a powerful night full of song, dance, and stunts that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Cheer for WUSC is a chance for Cougars Cheerleading to show case their skills and hard work.

Their season runs from September through to March, where girls and guys learn and practice a high intensity routine full of jumps, dance, stunts and tumbling.

Our cheer team will be defending their National Championship title at this year’s Canadian Nationals on March 1 in Kitchener.

Cheerleading is a part of the Sault College family and each athlete prides themselves on their devotion to the team and their efforts and dedication to WUSC and the Cheer for WUSC show.

WUSC believes in the potential of all people and they trust that with the right knowledge, skills and experience, people will find ways to provide for their families, build strong communities, and affect positive social change for future generations.

Come celebrate our success with us on Thursday, March 28.

Doors will open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7 p.m. in the main gym at Sault College.

While you are waiting for the show to start, feel free to help your self to beverages and snacks while you enjoy the live music and art displays.

Admission is by free or by donation.

In a news release that uses the term thirteen times, it might be worthwhile noting what 'WUSC' stands for.
