Good work, coppers.
SM-G 2/9/2013 6:20:00 PM Report

If you are a disqualified driver, you’d think you’d know better than to draw attention to yourself by talking on your cell while driving!!! That is like the criminals you see on “Cops” that drive around with massive amounts of drugs in their car with their brake lights out!! LMAO

pollock69 2/9/2013 8:09:23 PM Report

WTH????...No charge for talking on the cell phone while driving?
Sam C 2/9/2013 9:05:16 PM Report

Read it again, pollock69... he was also charged with "distracted driving under the Highway Traffic Act."

Sam C.....Good eye for detail. You should be a PI. I am saying that as a compliment. I had to go back & re-read it. Why does one think these charges don't apply in our province? Do they not realize the cops communicate? I am curious to know if the passenger was also not supposed to be driving. "World's Dummest Criminals" show comes to mind.

That's a you tube moment I'd like to see. Changing seats with the passenger while the vehicle is moving :)
tan24 2/10/2013 12:05:03 AM Report

ya this city is bad for people talking on their phones but i have also seen alot of cops doing the same as well
Lyne G 2/10/2013 12:35:16 AM Report

I'm surprised he was not charged with dangerous driving as switching places while vehicle in motion would certainly qualify?
jessiecat 2/10/2013 9:04:35 AM Report

switching seats in a moving vehicle is more dangerous than talking on a phone ,
m_grb 2/10/2013 9:11:36 AM Report

If the other guy was a legit driver why wasn't he driving in the first place?
m_grb 2/10/2013 9:23:19 AM Report

Sorry, the passenger was female, why wasn't she driving in the first place?
Bad Dawg 2/10/2013 10:37:41 AM Report

You can't fix stupid.
forse2 2/10/2013 1:05:15 PM Report

You guys who cut down the police have no idea, ride around with them for a day and witness what they have to go through. There are so many stupid calls they have to respond to, if this was not the case they would have more time patroling and discourage people not to talk on their cells and have pets on their laps, while driving. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!
