Faithful SooToday.com reader, Louise Olar, submitted these photos taken this past weekend at the NOA Biathlon Competition held at the Algoma Rod and Gun Club on Connor Road.
A total of 191 cadets from across Ontario traveled to Sault Ste. Marie for the competition and two locals, both from the 2310 Army Cadets, managed to capture gold medals - Austin Olar in junior boys and Sarah Gaudette in youth women.
Both young competitors will move on to the regional competition held February 8 to 10 of this year at the Algoma Rod and Gun Club.

jaag 1/31/2013 12:35:11 PM ReportGreat job by all the cadets. Locally the 155 Air Cadet Male relay team also placed 2nd and will be advancing to the provincials as well on Feb. 8&9 @ the Rod & Gun Club. Sarah also received the "Clean Shot" award along with one other cadet. Good luck to all competitors @ Provincials.
