A break in was reported to a residence in the 1200 block of Wellington Street East. It is reported that an unknown person or persons entered through a side door between 4:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. and stole a quantity of jewelry.

A 39 year old male was arrested as a result of a domestic incident. It is alleged that on the 27th of January the male assaulted his girlfriend by kicking and punching her and throwing her to the ground. The victim was not injured. The accused will be going to bail court this morning.
