TORONTO, ON – Sault Ste Marie residents Margaret Carter and Gerard Guerriro are off to an exciting start in 2013 as they won the $250,000 top prize with instant scratch game Turbo Cash(Game # 1713).
“Margaret cried when she realized we won!’" smiled Guerriro while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim their prize.
“Our friends were in disbelief when we told them the good news!” said Carter.
The two have played the lottery together for 20 years and Turbo Cash is one of Carter’s favourite instant scratch games.
They celebrated their win by taking their family out for a delicious steak dinner at The Keg and they’re preparing to take a cruise vacation next month.
The rest of the winnings will go towards their retirement.
