Community Living Algoma is getting $125,000 from the province for repairs and renovations at three facilities in Sault Ste. Marie.
The work will help CLA better serve individuals with developmental disabilities to lead active and fulfilling lives.
CLA services include residential, employment, leisure, advocacy, respite, case management and clinical support.
“This funding has provided us with opportunities to upgrade our existing properties and allows us to maintain a focus on maximizing the use of the operating funds we receive from the Province of Ontario for the day-to-day supports and services we provide to people with developmental disabilities and their families,” says CLA Executive Director John Policicchio.
“This investment assists in the delivery of crucial services that empower people living with disabilities, so that they can have a more active and integrated role within our community, ” adds Sault MPP David Orazietti in a news release.
