Seven motor vehicle collisions reported on area highways
No injuries
SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - Sault Ste. Marie OPP report seven motor vehicle collisions over the weekend on area highways.
Two collisions were reported on Highway 17 east of Sault Ste. Marie and five collisions were reported on Highways north of the city resulting from weather and road conditions.
Weather changes, particularly during the winter, can occur suddenly and dramatically in Ontario.
Without warning, sudden storms and plunging temperatures can drastically change road conditions and reduce visibility.
The OPP is reminding drivers that it is critical to adjust driving behaviour to the weather conditions that can change without warning.
Drivers must reduce speeds and most importantly, drive to the conditions.

Motorized snow vehicle collision
Minor injuries
TILLEY TWP, ON - Sault Ste. Marie OPP are investigating a collision involving two snow machines on Saturday, January 19, 2013 and approximately 6 p.m.
The collision occurred on a bush trail in Tilley Township.
A twenty seven year old male received minor injuries and was treated at Sault Area Hospital.
The investigation is continuing.
