j.r.98 1/15/2013 8:35:49 AM ReportWas this not locked up?
mudrunner 1/15/2013 8:39:39 AM ReportYa the doors were locked on it :P
switchback 1/15/2013 9:50:52 AM ReportWhat difference does it make if it was locked? It didn't belong to the person who took it. Society has gone to hell in a hand basket.
burned 1/15/2013 9:56:23 AM Reportawww hell...someone just stole the $@#!'n hand basket!!!!
Beej 1/15/2013 10:02:25 AM ReportLearn something new every day, now there are blue skunks!
SuzyyQ 1/15/2013 10:05:24 AM ReportI have reported snowmachines driving on Farwell more than once this year! (Farwell is prohibited area). Too bad I wasn't at my window yesterday when this thief rode past my home.
Bowhunter 1/15/2013 10:24:46 AM ReportWhy arent there any pictures posted? be easier for the average joe to keep there eyes open wouldn't it?
ryeandcoke 1/15/2013 11:00:12 AM Report@SuzyyQ. Who cares if someone drives on the street with there snow machine. If you don't like it move to Toronto. It is a northern community we should be free to drive our snow machines on the road. Who actually wastes their time to report this kind of thing. #GETALIFE
CrankxGirl 1/15/2013 12:00:35 PM ReportSwitchback, it makes a huge difference if it was locked up or not. If people properly secure their valuables in the first place, they would not be stolen. A chain around that machine with a lock on it is a deterrent whether you like it or not. My family lives in this neighborhood and if they EVER have a recreational vehicle stored at home I guarantee it would be locked up & safe the next day.
sitka_archie 1/15/2013 12:19:36 PM ReportSuzyQ- You're an idiot. I don't even own a machine anymore, but sleds are part of northern culture. If you don't like it close your blinds you old bat....or move to Toronto. I'm sure you'd fit in.
crashed13 1/15/2013 12:26:14 PM ReportSuzyQ
Are you bored?
We gas up at Macs Milk all the time on 2nd line at Korah and snowmachine are not allowed there, yet the cops drive by and see us without doing anything.
Maybe if someone is ripping up and down the street but do you call the cops on someone going for and from a trail ride?
SuzyyQ 1/15/2013 12:27:24 PM ReportTo: ryeandcoke AND sitka_archie, are you guys (gals?) both naive or what? I don't make the f***king laws. Snowmachines are NOT permitted on certain streets and if the two of you are so inclined to check out the facts, CALL the police to verify! F**k, you two are the idiots hiding behind your "alias names" posting nonsense !
SuzyyQ 1/15/2013 12:29:32 PM Report...and to crashed, there is NO Mac's on Korah/Second Line W. Snowmachines ARE permitted WEST of Korah Rd.
crashed13 1/15/2013 1:02:31 PM ReportYou know what Macs I,m talking about (The only one on 2nd line with gas pumps) and I,m talking about south of 2nd line which snowmachines are not allowed.
SuzyyQ 1/15/2013 1:05:57 PM Reportcrashed, you must be referring to the Macs on corner of GOULAIS/2nd Line, right? That is west of Korah Rd.
tommy_boi07 1/15/2013 2:02:33 PM Reporthttp://www.ssmtrailblazers.com/uploads/Maps/SSM-City-Snowmobile-Map.gif
You're wrong Suzy, they are prohibited on second line, look at the map on the link attached. And I'm sure the cops have better things to do than chase after a harmless snowmobile. You must have something better to do than report somebody riding a snowmobile down your street, how is it hurting you or your family?
SuzyyQ 1/15/2013 2:14:39 PM ReportTo: tommy_boi07, first, thank you for the link (although I don't need it); secondly, I never said snowmachines were permitted ON Second Line W.; I only know that they are permitted WEST of KORAH RD. And third, for the past several weeks, when we had snow, there have been two snowmobilers riding their snowmachines across my FRONT LAWN, on MY PROPERTY! I never gave them the invite ! Capisci?
Bad Dawg 1/15/2013 2:27:20 PM Reportwhats this pick on Suzy day??
Boi.....take a closer look at YOUR map... she lives on farwell and snow machines are prohibited there.
Just another typical sledder that thinks he has more rights because there is snow there. You tell her to move, if that guy likes sledding so much then he should move where snowmachines are not prohibited she lives there because sleds are prohibited..... you sound just as IDIOTIC as the ones saying 'it should be locked up". A lock will only keep an honest man out, so when they cut the lock I'm out cost of a lock too?? People just don't care, they want it they take, I can't wait til they try take it from me ( I am young enough to kick their a$$ and old enough to pay the legal bills)
She has every right to call the cops, more of a right than the bozo driving his sled and obliviously causing a disturbance.
Bad Dawg 1/15/2013 2:36:41 PM Reporthey suzy make a rope fence on your property. So when he goes over it there is a chance it will catch his track and in turn damage his sled. An old fishing net works great too.
SuzyyQ 1/15/2013 2:45:03 PM ReportBad Dawg, thank you for seeing my point of view. I appreciate it and it's clear that you have the smarts and common sense, unlike "ryeandcoke" who probably had too many rye and cokes, and the other dumbass, "sitka_archie". Thank you for your suggestion, however, I have spotted the snowmachines at a building on Second Line W, parked right in the front yard. If I catch them riding on my property again, I have their address and the police will take it from there.
the coach 1/15/2013 3:41:48 PM ReportIts probably stripped already.
Bad Dawg 1/15/2013 4:18:18 PM ReportI hate to say but the snowmachine drivers have no sense of respect. There are landowners that will stop their access because they can't stay on the trail. There have been numerous complaints from the sleds chasing livestock, theft and even damaging property. My family does own land that grants permission to them until one wrecks it for the rest.
Don't get me wrong there are the few that ride the speed limit on the marked trail, and the rest of them that say "we are not hurting anyone by using the road to get to the trail" you have just proved my point.
zr800 1/15/2013 7:16:48 PM Reportevery house that gets broken in to is LOCKED but they still get in so what is your point about LOCKING it up..........
