The Ontario Hockey League trade deadline passed and though the Soo Greyhounds were quiet, they did complete a minor trade.

The Greyhounds were also in action on home ice against Sarnia, Mississauga and London

In AAA hockey, the minor bantam Greyhounds have been in action, competing in Traverse City one week ago and then seeing action over the weekend in the Oshawa Spirit Challenge Tournament.

The Soo North Stars announced the hosting of a 'Rabbit Party' later this month.

High school hockey also continued this week.

In basketball action, Algoma University has been in action recently with the women competing in the Seneca Sting Classic.
