StrictlyConfidential 1/8/2013 9:27:09 AM ReportThis is nothing new. Purses, wallets, credit cards etc. have been stolen from dressing rooms at hockey arenas and from lockers at workout facilities. Is it time for these venues to employ Security Guards on a regular basis?
Mr E 1/8/2013 9:48:44 AM Reportbest thing to do is bring a lock and lock the door.
frauleinbroomhilda 1/8/2013 9:51:29 AM ReportNo security guards should be needed...all rooms can be locked by the groups with a padlock which is then given to one person in the group to hold onto. We've done it for years to protect our belongings. Some people just get to comfortable leaving their stuff in the changerooms and this unfortunately is what happens.
StrictlyConfidential 1/8/2013 10:01:37 AM ReportYou are right, no security guards should be needed and doors should be locked. So why are there multiple incidences where lockers and locker rooms have not been locked and belongings have been stolen and cases where they have been locked and the lock has not served as a deterrent. We have a serious issue of theft in this city, people stealing to support drug addictions. It is time to look at these issues from a community perspective and having a professional security guard on sight might help.
Bad Dawg 1/8/2013 11:56:36 AM ReportWe could all do something different, the one that really should is the buggers ripping everyone off. Chances are he steals from us every month Probably another oxy head on welfare, too lazy to get a job.
Working Man 1/8/2013 2:52:03 PM ReportYou might want to bring a lock and lockup your locker. Then again you can get past an ordinary lock. Get a heavy duty lock.
Or you can just put your wallet in the glove box in your car, lock the glove box and lock your car. That would be better.
j.r.98 1/8/2013 7:30:34 PM ReportWorking Man. l totally agree. Well said.
