Algoma U defrauded in the amount of $391,455. Cynthia charged

CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE ***************************** At 10:30 this morning, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Fraud Unit arrested 53-year-old Cynthia Jacobs of 65 Gehrig Drive, Sault Ste. Marie and charged her with fraud over $5,000.

At 10:30 this morning, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Fraud Unit arrested 53-year-old Cynthia Jacobs of 65 Gehrig Drive, Sault Ste. Marie and charged her with fraud over $5,000. 

It is alleged that between April 2006 and October 2012 the accused defrauded Algoma University of money in the amount of $391,455. 

She has a court date of January 14, 2013.
