Larry Hagman: 1931-2012

Actor, director, producer Larry Hagman is dead at the age of 81.

The man best known as J. R. Ewing in the 1980s primetime soap Dallas and as Major Anthony Nelson in I Dream of Jeannie passed away peacefully in his bed in a hospital in Dallas, Texas on Friday at 4:20 p.m.

Reports indicate he passed away due to complications of a recent battle with cancer.

Hagman, who recently set up a foundation in this name to fund education programs promoting the fine arts and creative learning opportunities for economically disadvantaged children in Dallas.

He also supported several charities including the U.S. National Kidney Foundation and was actively involved in efforts to develop and promote solar energy.

RIP Larry we will continue to promote cannnabis as a safe alternative to alcohol as you did. No Government body or Law Enforcement agency will EVER break the will of free men and women. Go easy.
