Innocent until proven guilty beit a cop or a drug dealer. That's one of the many things that makes this country great...we are all given that opportunity

I don't agree with making this public. What if he is actually found innocent. Don't forget, police officers are putting their life on the line every time they put their uniform on.
Ricatoni 11/24/2012 10:49:11 AM Report

houston:LMAO!!!!!!!

Why shouldn't it be made public? Cop or not, nobody is above the law (well in theory anyway)
Alken 11/24/2012 12:41:46 PM Report

"Presumed" innocent until proven guilty. And by the way one is never "proven innocent". It's either "not proven" or "not guilty".
Berto_12 11/24/2012 12:56:52 PM Report

@Alken people are often "proven innocent" -- if you're charged with a crime and they later find out that someone else did it, have you not been proven innocent?
Tom_Bom 11/24/2012 3:22:32 PM Report

Hey if we're good enough to have our names posted under suspected allegations that have yet to be proven as citizens, why aren't they?

Namaste 11/24/2012 4:29:54 PM Report

Ar least they mentioned his name.
But it does bother me that they are always suspended with pay and from our tax dollars so where is the punishment?
moem 11/25/2012 3:48:53 AM Report

Ahem, union.... This happens with most... And it's pretty easy to have someone arrested for sexual assault, unfortunately there are women who make false allegations about someone and then during the investigation it comes out that it was made up, I'm certainly not suggesting that this is one of those cases, but he is presumed innocent, so as such he would be suspended with pay, if it were a garbage man, postal worker etc it would be the same thing, pretty standard CA, suspension without pay is disciplinary, an investigation must be done first....

And ricatoni, sounds like maybe you wanted to be one but perhaps couldn't pass the intensive and rigorous testing. Perhaps the psychological tests lol anyways police testing is standardized and quite intense, whether you like them or not they do risk their lives and we need them, it's easy to pass judgment on them but I wonder if the ones bashing the cops would do any better...maybe they should try, change happens from within so if you all think the police are corrupt get in shape, pass the independent standardized tests and become one
bLine 11/26/2012 12:35:33 PM Report

This officer pulled me over a year or so back and rightfully so I suppose because of a rolling stop. Fair enough. But I did not deserve his derision and confrontational attitude that he exhibited towards me. He may have had a rough day, who knows. But to me he was just another bully with a badge, one that has spawned that lack of trust in Police that has become unfortunately, so prevalent. But he'll do OK. He'll be protected by the "blue wall of silence" a code that Police otherwise decry when they have a tough time cracking the same "code" in any number of non-Police investigations.
