Norm 10/31/2012 6:22:26 PM ReportPerhaps Lance the bike was worse.
JustMe1234567 10/31/2012 6:29:02 PM ReportGlad they got this guy, poor kids that have to grow up in that neighbourhood, they certainly don't need people like this lurking in basement dwellings.
bluesslinger 10/31/2012 6:31:45 PM ReportHe will get probation.
Tom_Bom 10/31/2012 8:19:39 PM ReportWar on drugs = Failure. It's an ongoing war we are never to win.
If marijuana was legal and sold in the LCBO, we wouldn't have this problem.
Just sayin.
JustMe1234567 10/31/2012 8:25:48 PM ReportIt isn't the pot, it's the pills and coke. THAT is a problem- and I'm glad he got busted.
shorty38 10/31/2012 9:05:20 PM ReportPOT-- that is the start, all the rest comes after.
it is not just the dope,
it is the DOPES that believes making it legal will help.
Dictionary 10/31/2012 10:02:23 PM Reporti'm all for legal weed but if the guy is pushing pills and powder i have no problem with his arrest.
N1T5 101 10/31/2012 10:28:16 PM ReportThey give weed to cancer patients and someone high on weed I don't think they'll be causing problems what are they gunna do? Rob macs on gore st. For munchies?
Bad Dawg 10/31/2012 11:01:59 PM Reporttisk tisk..... you people have no idea the amount of these pillheads with drivers licenses. Thats the problem I have with this!
shorty... pot is not a gateway drug anymore (kids now days are too lazy to roll it) the medicine cabinet is the new gate
ttb 10/31/2012 11:24:51 PM ReportPot is the start? Dude get your facts straight that is a myth. an urban legend
do you believe in bigfoot also?
You know what else< if you dont stop wanking you will go blind!
aDayInTheLife 11/1/2012 1:35:04 AM Reportttb: totally agree with you!..wish people would stop talking like pot is such a big crime......can anyone point out a news story that involves a person who smoked weed and injured people while driving...or committing a robbery...assult...rape. I don't really recall any kind of crime either that connects violence to pot use. However...all the people f**ked up on all these Pills, Crack, Coke....whatever else they're gettin thier useless hands on...are the ones committing these crimes. It saddens me to hear about families being torn apart from this stuff...parents neglecting thier children because this other crap comes first.....This city-no wait...this Country really needs to take some serious action about this ever growing problem.
Wisenheimer 11/1/2012 8:27:13 AM ReportSo much for the undertaking.
mattdoubleU 11/1/2012 8:39:01 AM Report@shorty..... Give you're narrow minded head a shake. It's idiots like you that think you're so perfect and that pot is an evil terrible "gateway" drug that it isn't legalized. Somebody said it perfect about no violent crimes or anything being committed by someone high on pot and it's 100% true. Open up your eyes Shorty, POT IS NOT THE PROBLEM YOU DUMMY!!!
SPOCK-62 11/1/2012 9:38:18 AM ReportaDayIn said what a lot of us think. If weed was legal, the government could cash in on it. Instead of organized crime.
Koala 11/1/2012 10:16:15 AM ReportPlease pot is not a gateway drug! The only thing in danger when I smoked it years ago was my refrigerator! And today I am healthy, happy and have never done anything stronger!
Bad Dawg 11/1/2012 10:50:09 AM Reportyes I also smoked years ago only pot and hash.... alot everyday. I never went to coke or heroin or even pills. I thought they were stupid, they spend $100 for a lil bag (back in the day for 50 you'd get a nice bag full) As far as I'm concerned pot is safe, sitting in your house "catching a buzz" is better than drinking anyday!! I also remember no hangovers and should be legalized on that issue alone!! how many days does someone lose cause they "drank last nite"..... but each their own
Kevin5069 11/1/2012 11:21:36 AM ReportPot is just as much a 'gateway drug' as anything you can buy at the LCBO. The whole idea of it even being a gateway drug was schemed up after it became obvious the governments were lying about it’s dangers (all of which are now deemed to have been faked).
This war on pot has and continues to be one of the biggest scams on tax payers in the last century. It's aimed at the simple minded, and has a great following!
frnlak 11/1/2012 11:24:42 AM ReportHow many people are driving around this town "wacked" on perscription drugs ie: valium etc. but that's ok. but don't smoke a splif.
dob131 11/1/2012 12:19:18 PM ReportGet out there and VOTE THEN if you want Pot LEGAL. You guys are too lazy stoned on pot on the couch to even think about getting off ur ASS and go VOTE !!!
Ricatoni 11/1/2012 1:54:22 PM ReportThe police force in this city alone probably spends millions of dollars on wages and overtime for these cops to arrest someone for a few joints..So you can imagine why the cops and the goverments dont want to legalize it..It is their money sorce...Its a joke people... A total waste of our money by cops who are trying to justfy $100,000 a year +++salaries trying to catch a pot head....it should be DA... not DEA.....
The ones who should be arrested are the cops and politicians. They give them millions of our tax dollars so they can arrest a pot head ??????? How about you go after armed robbers or real criminals..Actually you should be looking inside your own force if your really looking for criminals..The Sault police force is ranked number three in ontario when it comes to corruption.... imagine that???
Spyyder 11/1/2012 2:06:28 PM ReportPot is illegal because the bastards in Ottawa can't tax it!
the coach 11/1/2012 2:34:22 PM ReportSpyyder you hit it right on the nose.
Tom_Bom 11/1/2012 8:57:11 PM ReportOh it can be taxed. People realized alcohol prohibition was a fruitless effort, so they legalized it and taxed it and allowed licensed companys to manufacture it. The same thing can happen with pot.
Also I like how it was put earlier. "Pot's not a gateway drug. the only thing it's a gateway too is your refrigerator" lol.
tcowen 11/2/2012 12:02:24 PM ReportIs it because Oxycodone has a more sinister/criminal reputation associated with it?
Percocet's are not Oxycodone they are two different medications.. I can't help but notice that our local media seems to go out of their way to link the two together.
