CITY POLICE
NEWS RELEASE
***************************
43-year-old Terrance Polowy of 22 Anich Road was arrested last night by officers from Patrol Services.
It is alleged that Mr. Polowy went to the Zellers store on Northern Ave at around 3:30 p.m. and selected a set of blankets.
The accused then switched the packaging on the blankets in order to change the price code from $119.48 to $22.46.
The accused brought the items to the cashier and paid the lower price for the blankets rather than the original cost.
He was subsequently arrested by police and charged with one count of fraud under $5,000.

Wheels17 10/31/2012 11:05:10 AM ReportWhy would someone try something so stupid? Wouldn't the cashier have known this wasn't the actual price? The police have got to do something about these petty crimes.
