BMO Financial Group donates $50,000 to the Inspiring Growth Capital Campaign

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON (October 30, 2012) - BMO Financial Group has generously donated $50,000 to support Sault College’s Inspiring Growth Campaign.

Jim Boniferro, chair of the Inspiring Growth Campaign and Leo Tiberi, vice-president, Sault College, accepted a cheque from representatives of BMO Financial Group.

“BMO proudly supports charitable initiatives in the communities where we operate through donations and sponsorship programs,” states Lloyd Fleming, vice president, BMO Bank of Montreal. “As an active participant in Canadian communities, we believe in the possibilities of personal growth and achievement through continuous learning and access to education. We recognize the contributions Sault College makes to the community and we are happy to be making a difference in post-secondary education.”

The Inspiring Growth Campaign is the most significant fundraising initiative the college has undertaken in its 45-year history.

With a $6 million goal, the Inspiring Growth Capital Campaign will contribute to the continued transformation of the campus into a premier post-secondary institution and support student scholarships and bursaries.

“The support of our donors will create opportunities for enhancing education and the learning experiences of our students. This campaign has provided students attending the College with the learning environment that they need and deserve,” states Jim Boniferro. “We thank BMO Financial Group for their support in advancing post-secondary education in our community.”

Sault College is grateful to all our generous donors to the Inspiring Growth Capital campaign.
