Community First donates “Ozzies” to pediatric patients
(October 30, 2012) – Sault Area Hospital (SAH) wishes to thank Community First Credit Union for donating a collection of 70 stuffed animals to the Pediatric Unit of Sault Area Hospital (SAH).
The “Ozzie” is the 2013 credit union collectable stuffed owl.
Representatives from Community First Credit Union came to the Pediatric Unit today to bring the plush toys and presented the first Ozzie to one of the patients.
“We are very pleased to make this donation to some of SAH’s youngest patients to help brighten their day while they’re in hospital,” says Greg Peres, chief executive officer of Community First Credit Union.
“This gesture goes a long way to providing cheer for our pediatric patients,” says Johanne Messier-Mann, director of the program and chief nursing officer. “We salute Community First Credit Union for their support of SAH and our patients.”
