Break and enter suspect flees when confronted by homeowner

NEWS RELEASE

A break and enter was reported in the 50-100 block of McNabb St. at midnight. 

The complainant was awoken to a male youth entering a rear window of the residence. 

The male youth had smashed through the window to a rear door and fled when confronted by the home owner. 

The only description was that he was 5’5” wearing a light blue hoodie.

Personally, I'd be scared of getting hurt if I confronted an intruder.

Here's good example of why we should all keep some kind of light on around our house or inside. The thieves will think someone is home and not invade. Better safe than sorry. Also, we should have neighbourhood watch looking out for each other. I have the best neighbour...we call her FBI! She knows everything that goes on in our area. Eagle eye during the day and a very light sleeper at night. We love her.
