"When you guys are retired, will my Wiggles DVD still work?" was an adorable question posed to The Wiggles by a young fan recently.
Thankfully, yes, the DVDs will remain functional.
And retirement from the stage by Purple Wiggle Jeff Fatt, Red Wiggle Murray Cook, and Yellow Wiggle Greg Page does not mean the end of the beloved children's entertainment troupe.
Simon Pryce, Emma Watkins, and Lachlan Gillespie are set to join Anthony Field - the last remaining original Wiggle - to keep the Aussie 21-year legacy alive and going.
An audience of just under 1,700 fans - approximately two thirds of which were children, naturally - attended the Essar Centre this afternoon to celebrate with The Wiggles and their friends, including Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, and the Wiggly dancers.
The Canadian leg of the Wiggles' current tour continues through October with stops in Thunder Bay, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
