SandyB 10/17/2012 11:38:29 AM Report"The attendant was not hurt."
And how the hell would anyone know that?
I will go with "The attendant was not PHSICALLY' hurt, but you have no idea if they were hurt emotionally or physiologically.
I hope someone cares enough about this person to let them know that this is an injury that is covered under WSIB.
Under WSIB, sudden and unexpected traumatic events include witnessing or being the object of an armed robbery.
I realize this is probably a direct quote from the police files.. but still. Good heavens, in this day and age…
geterdun 10/17/2012 4:38:53 PM Reportwell after further review by our manager your claim is denied..sorry but you actually have to be shot in order to get compensation .We are sorry about your phycological issues, but maybe you can work days now instead of nights..
CLAIM DENIED!!!!!!!!! sound Familiar???
SandyB 10/17/2012 6:41:21 PM ReportNo, actually it doesn't.
I've never heard of anyone applying for compensation after an armed robbery that was denied by the WSIB.
I know of another armed robbery where the cleak was off for quite a while, until her Dr. felt she was able to go back.
