International designer/TV personality coming to town

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON (October 16, 2012) - The local branch of the Canadian Diabetes Association is pleased to announce they will be hosting a presentation by Kimberley Seldon, international designer, journalist, keynote speaker, author and broadcast personality on October 27, 2012, at the Comfort Suites and Conference Centre in Sault Ste. Marie.
Kimberley has enjoyed more than 12 years' experience in television; hosting three of her own series including the HGTV series Design for Living with Kimberley Seldon (currently airing in 65 countries worldwide).
She presides as guest design expert on CITY-TV’s CityLine.
An award-winning design firm, Kimberley Seldon Design Group boasts more than 15 years’ experience in full-service interior design projects.
In 2006, Kimberley also launched her first line of upholstered furniture “Kimberley Seldon for Brentwood Classics” to fine retail stores across Canada.
Projects range from urban condos to country manors with a client list that includes such well-known names as Erin Brockovich and President Bill Clinton.
Kimberley is the design editor of Canada's Chatelaine Magazine and editor in chief of Dabble Magazine.
She is also author of "500 Ideas for Small Spaces and Business of Design."
She’s been a regular contributor of design columns for newspapers and magazines across Canada from Vancouver to Toronto to Halifax.
Tickets are $50 and include a gourmet lunch and entrance into the Design & Décor Marketplace where local design and décor experts will showcase their products and services.
This fundraiser for the local branch of the Canadian Diabetes Association is a first time event, and local branch coordinator
Janie Bringleson is excited to offer a high-calibre speaker who is known as a world-class expert in the design field.
