geterdun 10/16/2012 3:39:49 PM Report

we are so lucky to have such great service in our city......NOT!!!!!!!!!
chichismom 10/16/2012 3:52:13 PM Report

well, don't complain, your PUC bills are much lower than those of us north of you who pay Hydro One for our electricity, and then when our power goes out we have to wait for someone from out of town to investigate the problems
shju 10/16/2012 4:04:08 PM Report

I have never seen a bunch of winners in my entire life. omg power went out whatever will I do without facebook. big deal
anabanana 10/16/2012 4:21:16 PM Report

Please ....could someone answer this question for me. The comment "My water stinks" are you referring to your drinking water or your water in the laundry room? I buy water to drink; needless to say I don't for the cloths washer, or the bathroom.
My clothes have a very foul odour; after washing and rinsing. A second rinse with fabric softener does not help. The packets affered to purchase and remove this odor, do not eliminate the odor and are over $7.00 for a packet of three.
chichismom 10/16/2012 4:52:55 PM Report

anabanana, try this, as it seems your washer is the problem, not the water. Washers collect residue and sometimes mold . Turn you settings to large and hot. wash with the hot water and 2 cups vinegar. do a second wash, also large and hot, with vinegar as well as a cup of baking soda. this should help.
OMGWTF 10/16/2012 5:14:20 PM Report

Yeah my water still stinks and it is the drinking water and its all about the chlorine!! Ughh it was so much better before they took the cheap route and F%^^ up the water. I want my good tasting water back!!
sweetc 10/16/2012 6:18:52 PM Report

I agree... we live in the
East end and I am still waiting for the water to clear up. It still smells very strongly of chlorine kind of like pool water. very strong at times.
the coach 10/16/2012 8:06:01 PM Report

Your water stinks? THE PUC STINKS. BUMBLING FOOLS.
moem 10/17/2012 4:55:26 PM Report

Shju you're the loser if facebook is your first thought, my first thought is heating my baby's bottle or ensuring that he doesn't go without heat on cold days when the power goes out and it doesn't matter what people choose to use their power for, they pay good hard earned money for it and they have a right to expect it to be there! Do we get a rebate on service fees and storage fees etc when the power goes out? And yes I remember years ago the water was great now it smells funny and tastes like crap, PUC didn't even bother to change their notice in the sault this week this week it says they will be working on the hydrants through summer and fall!!! We as paying customers have every right to be angry about poor service, and as for facebook I could use my iPhone if I were so inclined, but I can't heat a bottle....
speed7 10/17/2012 11:00:27 PM Report

My tap kitchen water stinks! Javex odors. People just have a better sense of smells like I do. I found it very offensive the now CEO of PUC goes to a council meeting and addresses the city with statements saying everytime they change the water treatment people naturally complain. Its all in our heads! My olfactory works very well and serves me the purpose to save me from bieng poisoned slowly to death. I have seen water treatments elswhere, Down south its disgusting floaties in the water from whatever deposits in there who knows. In Michigan at the hotel the water felt so slippery like it never was going to come off my skin. Water is supposed to be feel smell and make you clean. It acts as a universal solvent. It isnt supposed to leave chemical residues on your skin and dry it out. The water tasted good before. Now its awfully gross.
moem 10/18/2012 12:39:17 PM Report

Shju btw it's whiners not winners, grab a dictionary or use spell check
