With Colin Miller already injured, the Greyhounds lost another marquee defenceman from their lineup.
With two defencemen out of the lineup, the Greyhounds embarked on a road trip that took them to Windsor, Plymouth and Sarnia.
The Thanksgiving weekend was a busy one for three local teams who enjoyed some success. The Soo Thunder spent their weekend in Hamilton, as did the Soo Greyhounds minor bantams while the Greyhounds pee wee team won three games in North Bay.
After opening a seven-game homestand with a win over Abitibi last weekend, the Soo Thunderbirds played three games in three days, losing in overtime to Blind River before beating Elliot Lake and North Bay.
