RLE 10/10/2012 8:40:45 AM ReportI'm sure council has another abomination like the PUC palace up their sleeve and when we protest Pat Mick or another councilor with a proclivity to waste money will justify it by stating that it will only cost each taxpayer X dollars per month.
Point is---why bother.

Wisenheimer 10/10/2012 10:39:29 AM ReportHow about just stop spending my money!
Why does the city have to be involved in so many activities that can be done by local contractors at lower prices. Further bonus they wouldn't all wind up driving a million $ worth of equipment up to the Cambrian Mall every day for their 1 hr lunch.
geterdun 10/10/2012 3:31:43 PM Reporthow about firing all council members we could save well over million a year just doing that .its not like they do anything to earn their money.......total waste of money city councillors blood sucking leaches stealing our money.........hypocrits,liars,thiefs,andgod knows what else they do ??????????

Mr. O 10/10/2012 4:44:50 PM ReportDid we really need a new PUC office and garage, etc. This new building on 2nd line is huge. I for one think it's a waste of tax dollars. I don't for one minute believe this monster was needed in our city. The PUC has 2 other buildings right next door as well as the office building on Queen St. that they now will want to sell, where will these funds go? I sure hope they go to pay down the debt we will have from the 2nd line monster.
I wonder if this new building will come in on budget.
