Congratulations. All success in your new business.

That's a decent Idea for a business!

It is a lot better than a business that involves people actually doing things in the Sault for fun, because nobody does anything here anymore. Eg, churchill bowling lanes, log-in cafe, the fun park, both mini-putt locations, the child education center, river-rock, zellers, quiznos, U-betcha, Garden of eden Health food, The Princess, Blockbuster, etc, etc.. I can go on forever but I probably would exceed my max characters for posting on this website....

Good luck!

Neat! I am excited to check this out. Personally, I love gift baskets- it's always fun to rummage through and see what's inside!

Best of luck, hope others feel the same way I do :)

I used to work with a few basket cases in my day.

Churchill bowling lanes - Blame the Wii

Log-in cafe - Really?

The fun park - Blame our 4.78 month summer

Both mini-putt locations - See above

The child education center - There is this thing called the internet and iPad

River-rock - New location on Pim called the Rockstar

Zellers - Is this fun?

Quiznos - do you enjoy paying $10 for an overprocessed crapwich?

U-betcha - Blame the mall for jacking up the rents and scaring people north

Garden of eden Health food - Blame Amazon and forward thinking supermarkets

Princess - Blame the city and police for not keeping that area vibrant and letting drugs and prostitution and violent crime thrive.

Blockbuster - Blame iTunes & Netflix and Torrents and $40 blu rays

Times are a-changing...so how about we all take some of the blame? Get out and spend money in your community once in a while. We need good business people in this city with fresh ideas and something for our younger demographic, not effing noise by laws where our arts and entertainment should be. Wake up people!

And to city council, please stop hitting the snooze bar on us.

What a fantastic idea. I hope you will have a website where people can order from home and receive house delivery at a cost (especially for those of us who are house bound but still need to send gifts) I wish you much success on your new venture in life.
Working Man 10/10/2012 6:19:37 PM Report

Stevie-E,

No Zellers isn't fun. If I need towels i'll go to walmart!

Amazon is awesome. I am surprized we still have bookstores here in the Sault. I guess people like paying 15 dollars more for a book than they should.

Working Man

Sad but true...change stinks sometimes but we can't fight it and sheer numbers tell the story.
Working Man 10/13/2012 12:00:11 AM Report

And let us not forget about 'The Giant Colon'!! HAHA.. What a joke!!

I didn't even get to see it. I didn't want to. But, good thing that didn't last very long here... I am surprized.
