Past Outages

This is a description of an unplanned power interruption(s) that recently affected PUC Distribution customers in Sault Ste. Marie.

Power has been restored to all customers.
 
If you are still without power please call the PUC Emergency number at 759-6555.

Interruption Date:  October 05, 2012 at 11:33 AM
 
Customers Affected:  335

Number of Customers Restored:
 
335  Restored at:  11:59 AM

Cause of Interruption:
 
Equipment Failure -- Broken high voltage conductor

Description of area involved:

Wiloughby, Albion, Leslie, Caledon, Blake, Oakbine, Hardiman, Cameron, Elmwood, Champlain

That's impressive!!!
Made me chuckle.

I'm sure the customer's affected appreciated the fact that it was restored before it was interrupted!
