Interesting enough. Sootoday deleated all previous posts relating to this article. Sootoday printed the wrong name. Weather or not they were given the wrong name i don't know. Seems like they are trying to cover their tracks rather then print an apology. I know if my name was printed for a crime I didn't commit I would want a printed apology. Shame.
SooToday Moderator 9/29/2012 10:03:05 AM Report

Sorry folks the initial release sent to the media had the name 'Trevor', we have posted a new news story to correct the name to 'Caleb'.

We removed the comments because we removed the story from this article after the new release was sent correcting the error.

Please see latest news story posted.

Yes Bulletcards... it is sad how Caleb would try and frame his own brother. Nothing like family love. Pathetic!!! And I hope he gets what's coming to him!

thank you moderator. Weather you were given the wrong name or not, you printed it. In the soo we are all 6 degrees of separation and when inaccurate articles are published it can effect people greatly. I realized shortly after the missprint was noticed the articles changed the names. But still, a reader had to call you out to apologise. I was monitoring how long it took before or if an apology would be given. I commend do you for doing so, but think it should have been done sooner.

KDawg 9/29/2012 5:33:19 PM Report

SooToday.com is in the business of printing press releases verbatim, whether from local politicians or the police.

When that is all you know what do, then these types of mistakes happen.
